color stories . . .

g r e e n

With so many shades of green from kelly to sage and apple to grass, it's hard to say which one I like best.  I do feel a little goes a long way, although I of course appreciate a few green accents now and then.  If nothing else, the greenery and leaves of a favorite flower provide a needed punch of color that can breathe a little life into the house and bring the outdoors in.
And like anything else, when done right (for example the legendary Scalamandre zebra wallpaper in Kate Spade's bathroom) it's absolutely amazing.
Agree . . . ?

  7. Such a beautiful colour (and almost completely lacking in my home). Maybe it's time to borrow some greenery from the garden...

  8. I love all this green! It's only just starting to show signs of spring outside, so I'm definitely deprived!

  9. Kelly green and emerald green are for sure my favourite shades, rich and luxurious jewel tones that still maintain a fresh feel. Loving the glass jars in that first image!
